HPGL-to-NM/1 is a graphics translation program that reads HPGL inputdata and converts it to NMT Corporation's NM/1 format. As a part of thetranslation process, indexing information can be automatically extractedfrom the input data by matching text strings in the data with a templatedescribing the location of the indexing fields. The program can alsosegment large roll drawings into multiple frames.The NM/1 vector graphics language is a highly compact 2D graphicslanguage. NM/1 files produced from HPGL input are typically 10%-75% thesize of the HPGL input file. NM/1 is a registered trademark of NMTCorporation.
